We are a family run business situated in the beautiful 'Marches' area, where England and Wales meet, surrounded by superb countryside and many interesting places to visit, both by car and on foot.
B&B Rates £25 per night / per person. Children welcome, 1/2 price (age 3-14). Deposit £20 per person. Cot, High chair and sitter by arrangement.

Self-catering cottage: £330 per week Saturday to Saturday.Deposit £50. Off peak short breaks available £55 per night,  2008

Our accommodation comprises, a
ground floor family room with en suite facilities, which sleeps up to 3 people. There is also a self-catering holiday cottage which sleeps up to 5 people. All accommodation overlooks the railway line.
Station House is the original GWR station, built in the 1850s, and converted to domestic use on the closure of the station in the 1960s. Pontrilas Station, midway between Hereford and Abergavenny, was once the junction for the Golden Valley Railway to Hay-on-Wye.

Come and enjoy an unusual holiday in our friendly, knowledgeable railway accommodation. All ages of visitors are very welcome both human & animal. Once having stayed with us you will come again and again, as our visitors book will testify. We have many interesting photographs which show all the work we have done on renovating the self-catering cottage (even finding a well in the process) and train photos showing all our passing traffic both freight & passenger.
